Most businesses your size still run on the founder. In 30 to 60 days, Orbsi builds the operating system that runs it instead, with you, and trains your team to run it too.
You have probably been burned by something like this before. A course, an operations hire, a coach that did not stick. This is the layer underneath all of that, built with you, and we do not hand it off until it is running.

You are running a thousand miles an hour, and most of it has nothing to do with growing the business. You get pulled into a meeting to answer a question the team could have handled. You make a call someone else should have been able to make. You end a day that started at six in the morning, and the question sitting in your chest is the one you do not say out loud.
"I was so busy. What did I actually get done today that moved this business forward?"
On paper it is working. You have a good team. From the outside the doors are open and the customers are coming in. And underneath all of it, you already know the truth. The business does not run on your systems. It runs on you.
The Problem
How long the business could run without you depends on the day you ask. A couple of weeks, maybe. For a lot of founders, honestly, it is a couple of days. Either way, the doors stay open and the work gets done, but nothing moves the business forward. The team keeps things running, but they do not grow it. That part still waits for you.
So you stay in it. You do the hiring and the onboarding, you answer the questions, and you make the decisions, including the small ones that you thought you delegated to someone else. Every part of the business has a thread that runs back to you, and you have been holding all of them at once for so long that by now it feels like the job.
This is all keeping you stuck.
Why It Happens
The new team member who is not getting it fast enough. The roles nobody can quite define. The good hire who is somehow underperforming. The decisions that pile up on your to do list because, as you have noticed, the team does not make them on their own. They are not making those calls because no one ever drew the line that said they could. You cannot hold someone to a standard you never wrote down and trained to, and you cannot expect ownership of a decision that nobody was given.
You put a good person into a position you never finished building. There is no clear definition of how the position contributes to the company, what the position is responsible for, what success looks like in metrics, what they get paid, and how they grow within the company. So the person in the position is sitting in a half-built role, and they improvise as best they can. This creates roadblocks for them and frustration for you, and you both walk away thinking it is a fit problem when the position itself was never fully built.
Underneath all of this, it's common for founders to not let go because somewhere along the way, being the most needed person in the business is proof that they matter. This is part of why the business stays stuck.
The Cost
Your best people feel it before you do. A-players want to grow and want to know how their work contributes to the growth of the company, and when they cannot see a future, they don't announce it, they check out. You have maybe felt that already with someone. My best person is acting checked out. Or the quieter one you have said to yourself after the fact. I should have let him go six months ago. The people you want to keep most are usually the first to leave a business when they see no room for them to grow.
Then there is you. Three years without the option to step away if you need to. Sleep that is not really sleep, because part of your head is still in the business at eleven at night. The dinners you are physically at and mentally somewhere else. If you are the breadwinner, and a lot of founders reading this are, there is a weight to it most people never see, because the business that cannot run without you is also the business that cannot be sold, cannot be stepped back from, and cannot survive you needing a break.
Working harder will not solve this. You are already working hard. The plateau you keep hitting is not a market problem, a sales problem, or a people problem. It's a ceiling, and the ceiling is how much one person can hold. You have reached the edge of what you can personally carry.
Growth risk
When the business runs on you, growth hits a ceiling, because it can only move as fast as you can answer questions, fix problems, and make decisions. The bigger you get, the heavier and more fragile that becomes.
People risk
Without clear roles and performance systems, good people get stuck, ownership stays fuzzy, and your A-players feel underused while everyone waits on you. And with nothing documented, you are legally exposed the day you need to let someone go. A real build protects both the business and the people in it.
Founder risk
When you are the infrastructure, you are the single point of failure. The business works as long as you are available and on top of everything, and the moment you are not, it slows, breaks, or stops. That is not just exhausting, it is a structural risk to the whole thing.
Value and continuity risk
From the outside the business looks successful. Under the hood, when the knowledge and the execution live in your head, buyers and investors see a company that only works while you hold it together. That dependency drags down what the business is worth and makes it hard to ever sell or step away.
There Is Another Way
A few years ago I was at my son's baseball game with my head down in the stands, proofreading an email on my phone. He got his best hit of the season and I missed it. My husband saw the whole thing, both the hit and me not watching it. I had a team of 36 people, and I had built every part of operations to run through me, so even sitting in those stands I could not really leave. That was the day I stopped calling it dedication.
It was never a people problem. I had good people. What I did not have was a business that could run well on anything other than me.
So I removed myself as the operating system and built the business's operating system. I trained the team to run it and everyone who came on board after that. I got my life back, and I was able to step away when I needed to. I never needed to disappear on a long vacation or fully check out. I wanted to focus on the areas in the business where I add the most value.
This is not theory for me. I spent more than 15 years building real operations, teams past 100 people and programs running tens of millions in contracts, and I built the people systems and compensation models alongside HR and finance. I also trained as a licensed therapist, which is the part most operations people do not have. It is why I understand the real reason a founder will not let go. It is almost never the systems. It is what letting go means to you. I build for both, the structure and the person who has to be willing to step out of the center of it.
That is the bridge. Founder as the operating system, to a business with an operating system.
On the other side of it the day looks different. You have time for the parts of the business you love and are good at, you make it home for dinner, and you sleep. The stress that has been sitting on your chest eases, because the business is no longer balanced on a single point of failure that happens to be you. And the work you have been wanting to do, becoming a stronger CEO, leading the team well, growing the thing, becomes the next chapter, once it is a business with an operating system.
What Orbsi Builds With You
The Full Infrastructure Build is the complete operating system your business should be running on, built across five pillars, one to one with an advisor, in 30 to 60 days. Then we train you and your team on how to use it consistently.
This is done with you. It is not a course you will abandon or a binder that dies on a shelf. We build the real infrastructure pieces, specific to your business, and we do not call it finished until you feel confident using them.
If you want to be a better CEO and leader, the kind who focuses on the right priorities instead of everything at once, priority number one is the infrastructure. We start here, always. It is the foundation the whole company stands on, and it is organized into five pillars: Company Profile, People, Processes, Performance, and Technology.
Investment
Every build starts at $6,000 and is scoped to your business size and complexity. The audit comes first, the price comes second, and then the build comes after you have seen exactly what you're paying for.
Here is what each pillar looks like when the piece is missing, and what we build in its place. The left is how it feels right now. The right is what you walk away with.
Most founders assume building all of this means hiring an HR consultant or a fractional COO. Those engagements often start at $8,000 or more, and a lot of the time they are solving for something you do not need yet. You do not need an HR consultant to build any of this, and at this stage it is very likely you do not need an HR function at all.
What you need is someone who has built operations for businesses from startup through scale, with both risk and compliance in mind, and who can build the entire system with you for a fraction of what those hires cost.
What founders do not realize is that the absence of this infrastructure does not just create annoyances. It creates real risk, to the business, to the founder personally, and to the long-term value of what you have built. We look at it in four buckets: growth risk, people risk, founder risk, and value and continuity risk.
Our Guarantee
We will not promise you a revenue number. What we guarantee is the work and the result. If a piece we build does not meet your standard, we rebuild it until it does, at no extra cost. And we do not call it finished when the files are sent. We stay until it is running. The one honest condition is that you have to be willing to use the operating system and hold your team to it.
How It Works
We lead, you riff. You talk, we build. You are not going to project-manage an infrastructure build on top of running the company, and that is what makes this work when you have no time to spare. We bring the plan, the structure, and the checkpoints, and we drive the project from start to finish.
Here is how it actually goes. We build in a deliberate order. We ask intentional questions and let you talk through how the business really runs today, and we capture your voice and your decisions while you do. Then we run all of it through our methodology and turn it into clean systems your team can use right away. We do the heavy lifting between sessions. You give input, we handle the operations work you do not have the time or the desire to figure out, and you stay in your lane.
The fear is almost always some version of "I don't have time to sit down and do this." The honest answer is that you do need to make time for it. But having someone else drive the project and tell you exactly what is needed at each step changes the whole thing.
The whole build runs 30 to 60 days. From you, that is a few 60 to 90 minute sessions across that time, and we do everything in between.
The path:
Start with a free Company Infrastructure Audit.
We look at how your business runs and tell you straight what is missing.
We scope the build to what you need.
No flat fee that overcharges a small team or shortchanges a complex one.
We build it with you.
A few 60–90 minute sessions. We do the heavy lifting between each one.
We train it into your team.
The system only works if the people running it know how to use it.
We stay until it is running.
Not until the files are sent — until it is actually running.
Results
"We offered a job to someone on Tuesday. It felt so good to not have to be a part of the hiring process."
"It's crazy because usually June is so slow for us, and we're actually up by 5% this month from last month. It's incredible."
Karyss, MTT Collective, multi-unit retail owner
"We were hesitant at first. We didn't want to pour all our profits into hiring a CEO or COO."
"She cleaned up our structure from top to bottom, implemented a new online dashboard to centralize all our information, and helped eliminate countless repetitive tasks from my plate. Thanks to her systems and frameworks, we're now significantly more organized and structured, with scalable systems in place. We actually have a system to onboard, offboard, move people up through our company, hold people accountable, and have a compensation model to follow when making offers and promotions."
Liz and Jason Jackson, JaxCap LLC
"We now have documented processes, performance systems, accountability tools, compensation structures, policies, and role clarity across the organization. More importantly, people know what they own and what they're responsible for. They know what decisions they can make without asking permission and what decisions need to be escalated. This sped us up so much. People aren't sitting around waiting for approval anymore. Things move faster, decisions get made quicker, and everyone has more clarity around their role."

What Is Probably Going Through Your Head
Questions Founders Ask
How much does it cost, and why is there not a flat price?
It starts at $6,000, and the real number comes after a free audit. The price moves with the size and complexity of what needs to be built. A bigger team means more roles to define, more decision rights to draw, and more onboarding to build. More departments and more locations mean more org structure and more processes to document. The audit is how we see exactly what your business needs and scope the build to it. You pay for what your business actually needs, not a flat fee that overcharges a small team or shortchanges a complex one, and you will know your exact number before you commit to anything.
How much of my time does this take?
Roughly a few 60 to 90 minute sessions. Orbsi does the building between those sessions. The point of this is to take work off you, and a build that buried you in homework would defeat the whole thing.
I have already tried a framework, an operations hire, or a coach. How is this different?
Those all operate on a layer that has to exist first. We build that layer, the defined roles, the decision rights, the success metrics, and the processes, with you, and we train your team to run it. It is the foundation the others assumed you already had.
What do I walk away with?
Everything in the five pillars above, built specifically for your business: the Company Profile, the People systems, the Processes, the Performance systems, and the Technology home base where it all lives. All documented, with your team trained to run it. A business with an operating system that is no longer you.
What if I am not sure what I even need?
That is what the free Company Infrastructure Audit is for. You do not have to diagnose it yourself. We look at how the business runs and tell you straight what is missing and what is worth building first.
Do I have to use your software or platform?
No. We build around the tools you already use wherever it makes sense. The system matters more than the software.
What happens after the 30 to 60 days?
You are running it, with your team, on your own. The next chapter, if you want it, is the leadership and CEO work, becoming the leader of a business that runs on a system instead of on you. Some founders carry on into that with us.
What do you guarantee?
We will not promise you a revenue number. What we do guarantee is the work and the outcome, which is that you are no longer the operating system and your business now has an operating system. That comes with one honest condition. You have to be willing to use the operating system and hold your team accountable to it. If a piece we build does not meet your standards, we rebuild it until it does, at no extra cost. We stay until it is running, not until the files are sent to you.
Is This Built For You?
Built for you if
You are a founder of a business doing $1M or more in revenue. You have a team, and you are the primary operating system for your business. Everything still routes through you. You are ready to make the change, not just talk about it. You want to grow, and you have started to see that growing means the business can no longer run through you.
Not built for you if
It is not built for you if you are pre-revenue, running solo with no team, or still looking for a system you can buy once and never touch. And it does not work for the founder who is only half in. This is real work, done with you, and the half-in version of it helps no one.
Let Us Start With a Conversation
The first step is not a contract. It is a free Company Infrastructure Audit and a conversation, where we look at how your business runs and where you are carrying weight the business should be carrying instead. You will walk away from that call with a clear read on what is worth building first, whether or not you ever hire us.
Before you decide, two things on the table. We guarantee the work, and if a piece we build does not meet the standard we rebuild it until it does, at no cost to you. And you see the audit before you pay for anything, so you are never buying blind.
We take on a limited number of builds at a time, because each one is done with you, not handed to a junior team. If it is a fit on both sides, we will say so on the call.
If now is not the time to change how the business runs, it is okay to say that. This only works when you are ready for it.
If you already know this is you, start with the audit.
If you are not ready for a call yet, start with the free audit. You do not have to commit to anything to get something real out of it. It shows you what is missing, what is worth building first, and how each piece would change your day to day. Even if you never hire us, you walk away knowing exactly where the load is.
You started this business for a reason, and somewhere in the grind of building it is easy to lose sight of that reason. You do not have to keep being the thing the whole business depends on. Let us build it so it can finally stand on its own, with you, and give you back the parts of this you started it for.
